Livory Font

MyFonts News regularly pops up in my inbox and the recent one introduced Hannes von Döhren, an art director turned type designer in Berlin. In less than a year, the German designer has released an astonishing collection of well-made, original typefaces in a wide variety of styles. I can't wait for an opportunity to use his Livory Font, inspired by the French Renaissance oldstyle faces from the sixteenth century.

Oliver Jeffers

I've enjoyed visiting Oliver Jeffers's site ever since a friend from college introduced me to his work years ago. I occasionally stop by to see what he's done of late and I've been inspired by one of his print The America. Thinking I might get a piece of wood and have a bash at painting my homeland, Australia. 

Polaroid Swinger II Land Camera

The biggest impulse buy at the smallest price. I've always loved Polaroid cameras, I remember as a child the buzz I'd get from seeing the picture I'd just taken in my hand in seconds. So when I saw this little beauty on e-bay I couldn't help myself.  Fingers crossed I can find some film for it.

EmersonMade

EmersonMade started as a one woman operation in NYC where Emerson would sell her hand-made flower brooches, sometimes right off her lapel. She has now branched out into a full scale operation creating clothing, clutches and necklaces. I particularly love her clothing.

Oh Tolix Chairs can we please be friends - I dream of you being in my life, the dinner parties we could have together would be wonderful, the light lunches, divine and afternoon teas...

I've gone a little Etsy crazy of late but who wouldn't when you have gorgeous stores such as Make It constantly popping up. Isn't this stag majestic!
