It's been a long time since by last post. I've been slightly unmotivated, unsure about the path I want to take with my career and life - I'm still not 100% certain. But there are times when I stumble across something that peaks my interest - this little ditty made me smile and think...  Found via Lotta Agaton.

Pringle of Scotland

I've been extremely busy of late, freelancing all over the place so I have been neglecting my little blog. One of the places I have been working at is amazing fashion house Pringle of Scotland. Founded in 1815, Pringle was one of the first luxury manufacturers creating the term 'knitwear'. Over the last five years, under the new creative direction of Clare Waight Keller, they have re-invented themselves as a contemporary luxury brand regularly showing at London Fashion Week.

Love this branding and the design company that created it, Ptarmak Inc. Found via a lovely blog called Designer's Library.

House Doctor

Stumbled across this Danish Homewares company, House Doctor,  the other day and got extremely excited about their amazing selection of products - but then I found out, after deciphering their Danish catalogue order form, that they're a supplier. Such a shame - so now I'm on the hunt for their stockists. But in the mean time I'll continue to droll over their catalogue.

To Kill a Mockingbird

To Kill a Mockingbird has and always will be one of my favourite books - I don't have the fingers to count how many times I read it.  This month marks the 50 years since Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel was published and to celebrate Publisher William Heinemann has put out a 50th Anniversary Collector's Hardback Edition. Attila Design

This stunning bed popped up into my inbox via an Etsy newsletter this morning and I just needed to share it with everyone. Attila Design make this fairy tale bed from 100% Ash Wood. The bed posts are laser cut to tree shape, hand sanded and finished with white translucent wax. Wouldn't  it be lovely to wake up every morning under these gorgeous trees?

Lo Bjurulf

Interior stylist, Lo Bjurulf has created an ethereal wonderland. You would never guess that this simple interior design with interesting objects, funky shapes and neutral colour palette would be Ikea.

Superhero

It's sometimes hard living so far away from family and friends but when you find a gorgeous message like this in your inbox from someone you love - it brightens your week. You're my superhero too Gazzie! 

Miss you...

Livory Font

MyFonts News regularly pops up in my inbox and the recent one introduced Hannes von Döhren, an art director turned type designer in Berlin. In less than a year, the German designer has released an astonishing collection of well-made, original typefaces in a wide variety of styles. I can't wait for an opportunity to use his Livory Font, inspired by the French Renaissance oldstyle faces from the sixteenth century.

Oliver Jeffers

I've enjoyed visiting Oliver Jeffers's site ever since a friend from college introduced me to his work years ago. I occasionally stop by to see what he's done of late and I've been inspired by one of his print The America. Thinking I might get a piece of wood and have a bash at painting my homeland, Australia. 

Polaroid Swinger II Land Camera

The biggest impulse buy at the smallest price. I've always loved Polaroid cameras, I remember as a child the buzz I'd get from seeing the picture I'd just taken in my hand in seconds. So when I saw this little beauty on e-bay I couldn't help myself.  Fingers crossed I can find some film for it.

EmersonMade

EmersonMade started as a one woman operation in NYC where Emerson would sell her hand-made flower brooches, sometimes right off her lapel. She has now branched out into a full scale operation creating clothing, clutches and necklaces. I particularly love her clothing.

Oh Tolix Chairs can we please be friends - I dream of you being in my life, the dinner parties we could have together would be wonderful, the light lunches, divine and afternoon teas...

I've gone a little Etsy crazy of late but who wouldn't when you have gorgeous stores such as Make It constantly popping up. Isn't this stag majestic!
